Esha Gupta takes holy dip at Prayagraj during Maha Kumbh 2025; says, “Main yaha Bollywood actor ke haisiyat se nahi aayi hoon”

The annual event, which draws millions of pilgrims, has become a global attraction this year, with several prominent personalities also joining the crowds. Among the celebrities at the Kumbh was Bollywood actress Esha Gupta, who took to the Ganges as she visited the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj.

Esha was spotted at the Mela, where she too participated in the sacred ritual. Dressed in a traditional outfit, she immersed herself in the spiritual energy of the grand event, witnessing the devotion of millions gathered at the holy site. In addition to celebrities, several public figures are also visiting the Kumbh, including veteran actor Anupam Kher, model and actress Poonam Pandey, and famous Coldplay singer Chris Martin.

Esha Gupta, along with her mother, took part in the holy dip at the Ganges, following the age-old tradition believed to purify the soul and bring divine blessings. Reflecting on the experience, the actress took to social media, posting a picture of her journey and sharing her thoughts on the spiritual importance of the occasion. Her post quickly garnered admiration from fans and followers, who appreciated her embrace of India’s spiritual heritage.

The Aashram 2 actress told IANS, “Bollywood actors ka kaam nahi hai ke woh auron pe tipanni dein, toh main nahi dena chahungi. Bollywood actors ka kaam hai acting karna. Main yaha pe Bollywood actor ke haisiyat se nahi aayi hoon.”

She added, “Main yaha pe Sanatan Dharam ke haisiyat se aayi hoon, Sanatani ke Dharam se aayi hoon. Ek beti ke haisiyat se aayi hoon, aur ek Bharatiya ke haisiyat se aayi hoon.” (I am here for Sanatan Dharam, as a devoted daughter and as an Indian who never imagined being part of a Kumbh like this. Whether for faith or duty, I urge you—come and be a part of it.)
